Welcome to the website of the Russian Orthodox Parish of St Aidan and St Chad, Nottingham. 

SCHEDUALE OF SERVICES WEEK COMMENCING 21st NOVEMBER 2021.

Saturday 27th.
DIVINE LITURGY 10am.
This is for our older and vulnerable members who still need maximum protection from Covid.
Masks if applicable must be worn and social distancing observed.

Sunday 28th.  22rd Sunday after Pentecost.
DIVINE LITURGY 10am preceded by THE HOURS at 9.30am.
Beginning of the Nativity Fast.
Martyrs and Confessors Gurias and Samonas.

Readings.       Epistle.  Ephesians 2:4-10

                  Gospel.   Luke 10:25-37

 We commemorate on this Sunday: Martyrs and Confessors Gurias and Samonas (299-306), and bibus (322), of Edessa. Venerable Païsius Velichkovsky (1794). Martyrs Elpidius, Marcellus, and Eustochius, who suffered under Julian the Apostate (361-363). Martyr Demetrius of Thrace (ca. 307). Hieromartyrs Nikolai Shcherbakov and Peter Konardov, priests, Nikita Almazov, deacon, and Martyr Grigory Dolinin (1937).

There will be a Parish Meeting following the Divine Liturgy
on Sunday 28th November 2021

It is important that as many members of the parish attend this meeting please.

In addition the church will be open during each week on the following days and times, Friday 10am-2pm &
Saturday 10am-1pm.   Alternatively the church can be accessed by prior arrangement with Father Gregory.
