Ascension Of The Lord.

Divine Liturgy 10am. This service is only for our older & vulnerable members of the Parish.

We remember today: Venerable Nicetas the Confessor, Bishop of Chalcedon (9th). St Ignaty, Bishop of Rostov (1288). Venerable Elena of Diveyevo (1832). St Geronty, Metropolitan of Moscow and All Russia (1489). Hieromartyr Eutychius, Bishop of Melitene (1st). Martyr Heliconis, of Thessalonica (244). St Germain, Bishop of Paris (576). Hieromartyr Helladius, bishop (6th-7th). The Martyrs who suffered in the valley of Fereidan (in Iran) at the hands of the Persians (17th) (commemorated on Ascension Day). [Georgian Cal.] Monk-martyrs Makary (Morzhov) and Dionisiy (Petushkov),
Hieromartyr Nikolai Aristov, deacon, Martyrs Ignaty Markov and Peter Yudin (1931); Venerable Irakly (Motyakh), confessor (1936); Nun-martyr Germogena (Kadomtseva) (1942).

Sunday 13th June. 7th SUNDAY OF PASCHA.

Sunday of the Holy Fathers of the First Ecumenical Council (325). Afterfeast of the Ascension.

Divine Liturgy 10am, with the Hours commencing at 9:30am

We remember today: Martyr Hermeius, at Comana (2nd). Martyr Philosophus, at Alexandria (3rd). Hieromartyr Philosof Ornatsky, priest, and his sons, Martyrs Boris and Nikolai (1918).

Readings for the day.

Epistle. Acts 20:16-18,28-36.

Gospel. John 17:1-13.

In addition the church will be open during each week for private prayer on the following days and times, Friday 10am-2pm, Saturday 10am-1pm  and Sunday noon-1pm. Alternatively the church can be accessed by prior arrangement with Father Gregory.

We are now serving all of our services publicly, however to meet Covid 19 restrictions  to attend any service  people will need to book via Fr Gregory at father.gregory@ntlworld.com or by sending him a text. It is most important that when attending the church you observe all of the Covid-19 rules.
