Welcome to the website of the Russian Orthodox Parish of St Aidan and St Chad, Nottingham.
OUR NEXT LITURGY WILL BE THIS SUNDAY 28TH FEBRUARY 2021.
SUNDAY OF THE PRODIGAL SON.
We are now serving all of our services publically, but as before people will have to book via Fr Gregory at firstname.lastname@example.org or by sending him a text. It is most important that when attending the church you observe all of the Covid-19 rules.
Our usual Sunday morning Liturgy will normally be live streamed on our Facebook page :
The church will be open during each week as before for private prayer on the following days and times, Friday 10am-2pm, Saturday 10am-1pm and Sunday noon-1pm. Alternatively the church can be accessed by prior arrangement with Father Gregory.
Please do not hesitate to contact Fr Gregory should you need any clarification or to talk about any other matters, our apologies for this situation being so complicated!
I ask you to join with us as often as you can –facebook.com/RussianOrthodoxNottingham/ even though we are separated from one another physically, let us be united in Christ through our common prayer. Of course it goes without saying that you may send me requests for prayers by email or text, email@example.com and 07758807434.
Do feel free to be in touch if I can help you at a distance in any way.
We hope and pray for a speedy resolution to the present difficult situation, for healing of those who are sick, for strength and protection of those who care for them in hospital or at home, and that the virus which is afflicting our world will soon be brought under control.
Please be assured of my prayers for you all – May God’s blessing be upon each and everyone of you!
With love in Christ,
